Our red colorized hardwood mulch is created by taking white woods such as oaks and poplars and shredding them twice with our Diamond Z tub grinders. We then immediately take the shredded white woods and color them a bright red. This process results in double shredded red colorized mulch that holds its read appeal for 9-12 months. Brown Colorized Mulch
Our Brown colorized hardwood mulch is created by coloring our double shredded hardwood mulch brown. This product is becoming more and more popular with homeowners and landscapers. Pine Fines can be used as a soil amendment or as a mulch. This product consists of the very small pieces of pine bark that are removed during the screening process of aged pine bark nuggets. Because pine fines have such a fine texture they make excellent mulch for flowerbeds. As a soil amendment pine fines improve drainage, add organic matter, and help to maintain an acidic soil as they have a low pH, which is great for acid-loving plants.

Nuggets vary in size between 1” and 3” and are a larger gradation of pine mulch. Nuggets are a good choice for mulching around acid loving plants. Pine bark nuggets help to prevent erosion and to protect plants from extreme temperatures. Other benefits include that the organic matter decomposes into humus, requires less watering, suppresses weeds, and adds flare to any landscaping job. We suggest using nuggets in a flat bed so that they do not float away in a heavy rain.
Pine Bark Mulch
Pine bark mulch is a finely ground mulch made from the bark of pine trees. The density supports vegetative growth within the mulch. The particle sizes range from dust to 5/8 square inches. The mulch makes weeding easier for you because it is more weed resistant than most other mulch types. This product decomposes more rapidly than other course pine or hardwood products. Overall pine is a bit more acidic. If you have plants that desire a bit more acidic PH level, this is your product. It has a reddish brown color to it, great for adding beauty to any landscape.
